Infinity mirror pool at Palais Royal, Bidart
The property had an old 25 x 8 m pool with several deficiencies. The challenge was to transform it into an infinity mirror pool, one of the most exclusive and demanding types, requiring absolute precision in leveling for the water to flow perfectly into the perimeter channel.
Partial filling of the existing pool to adapt it to the new design. Construction of a reinforced concrete perimeter channel, perfectly leveled over 25 meters. Waterproofing of the pool using the KERDI system. Installation of tiles inside the pool basin. Execution of a new exterior concrete slab with slopes and screeds. Installation of natural stone provided by the client as exterior finishing. Integrated lighting system to enhance the mirror effect.
A unique infinity mirror pool, flawlessly executed with the sea as a backdrop. The project fulfilled the owners’ dream and became a benchmark for exclusivity and quality in Bidart, Biarritz, Guéthary, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
